Shyan's Kitchen was built around a simple idea: bring the food people grew up on — the biryani, tandoori, karahi and fresh-baked bread of Indian and Pakistani home kitchens — to the table in Metairie, made properly and served 100% halal.

Everything is cooked to order. Whole spices are toasted and ground in-house, naan and roti come out of the oven fresh, and biryani is layered and sealed the slow way, so every plate tastes like a family meal rather than a fast one.
